Diversified Recruiting operates as an HR as a Service and People Operations firm, dedicated to assisting non-profit organizations within our community. We focus on their growth, talent acquisition, and ensuring HR compliance with State, Local, and Federal regulations. The unwavering commitment to supporting organizations with HR services and recruiting needs is what sets us apart. Anita Smith is a highly accomplished Human Resources professional with over 15 years of experience in the field, with a passion for talent management and organizational development. As a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) HR Executive, Anita is known for her expertise in all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. She also holds many specialty certifications from HRCI and SHRM in Risk Management, DEI, and Sustainable Management. 

Anita has been recognized for her strategic thinking and ability to drive business results through effective HR strategies and is highly regarded for her expertise in strategic HR planning, change management, and talent development. She is also a sought-after mentor, sharing her insights and expertise with other HR professionals across the industry.


In addition to her professional achievements, Anita is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She is an active volunteer for several non-profit organizations, including being an active Board Member of Girls on The Run of Central Ohio. She is also an active member of several professional organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) where she assists in writing HR certification exams. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and volunteering in her community.

Anita prides herself on using Diversified Recruiting as a platform for doing good. She is a vocal advocate for issues impacting women and minority groups.
