About the Role

Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Supervises and coordinates new chemicals being approved by furnishing labels, SDS sheets and product request form for chemical evaluation.
Maintains good quality control program by accurate sampling procedures.
Keeps accurate records on mill production and delivery.
Monitors cost records and performance data to analyze the effectiveness of milling delivery practices.
Directs quality maintenance programs for equipment and vehicles.
Maintains close contact with the truck garage and acts as liaison for drivers and the shop.
Coordinates raw materials delivery with appropriate personnel.
Comply with all DOT safety rules and regulations, all company policies, and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
All other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:

Four years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of Department of Transportation, State and Federal Laws.
Ability to supervise other.
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous live poultry tractor trailer driving experience.
Basic math functions and skills.
Wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work in outside environment (including inclement weather) daily.
Preform maintenance repairs on top of bins and silos.
Lift up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to climb a ladder.
Work on equipment at high heights
Work in noisy environment (>85 decibels) and moving equipment.
Work nights, weekends, holidays and long shifts.
