Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Assists in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Provides leadership around employee engagement.
Directly supervises Human Resources clerks
Coaches/advises production management on disciplinary actions and overall communication with hourly associates.
Supervises daily HRIS input.
Provides daily and weekly reporting.
Supports the employment supervisor with filling in-house bidding positions.
Coordinates with benefits assistant to properly manage employee leaves of absence.
Responsible for compiling termination documentation for unemployment.
Conducts employee complaint investigations.
Plans and executes employee engagement events.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated leadership ability and strong communication skills
Personal computer skills including MS Word and Excel
Ability to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
Attention to detail in composing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization
Planning: organizational and prioritizations skills; plans work activities well; uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans; excellent multi-tasking and scheduling
Dependability: is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
